Causes of joint pain

The main causes of joint pain are as follows.

1.Arthritis - It is the most common cause for joint pain. Usually, it occurs over the:

    • Hips
    • Knees

    2.Overuse of a joint - Overuse of a joint can also lead to joint pain. For instance, if a hockey player overused his knee joint, then he/she may become a victim of joint pain.

    3.Infectious diseases - Any infectious diseases such as mumps, influenza and hepatitis can lead to serious joint pain. Joint pain is also one of the symptoms for these infectious diseases.

    4.An infection over the bone or joint - Any infection over the bones or joints can also lead to joint pain. When it occurs, then one has to rush to the doctor immediately for treatment.

    5.Rickets - It is a skeletal disorder which occurs due to the lack of Vitamin D. People who are having this disorder are common victims of joint pain.


Treatment for joint pain

Joint pain treatments can be divided into home treatments and medical treatments. However, joint pain treatments depend upon the level of pain and complications the person has. But through these ways, one can treat joint pain and overcome it easily.

  • Exercise regularly
  • Maintain your body weight
  • Do not overuse your joints
  • Have a warm bath
  • Stretch your body regularly
  • Give your body a proper rest.
